News and Announcements
Hello Flipper Parents,
Our annual Langley Flippers swim meet is around the corner and the executive wants to get a jump start on filling parent participation spots! It takes a lot of work from club parents to put on a swim meet and if everyone pitched in a little bit, everyone would have shorter shifts; lets work together and make our meet rum seamlessly!
There are paper sign-up sheets on the bulletin board, in the lobby of Al Anderson; just left of the entrance. If you have any questions, please reach out to Donna at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lindsay at email@example.com
ALSO… the Flipper put on a silent auction table on both Saturday and Sunday. If you are able to make a donation or two, it will be greatly appreciated, Small items work as well, as we can put together some gift baskets. Reminder – These donations do go towards your earned fundraising monies!!
Monday May 20
As a society, the Langley Flippers are required to hold an AGM, with quorum (general membership) and we won’t be able to hold one without our members there. If you could all please reserve Tuesday, July 30, for a short evening with the Langley Flippers executive, it will be greatly appreciated.
The support and extra efforts, from parents and grandparents, in planning, volunteering, and the daily dedication to all of our swimmers is one of the main reasons our club has continued to thrive for so many years.
Please help the Flippers continue the spirit of summer swimming for generations to come.
The document LFSC_Executive_Roles_2019.pdf was attached to this post.
The Flippers are really making a slash during their first week back at Al Anderson! Lots of pool time, lots of catching up with summer friends… an amazingly awesome start to the season!
Come join us for the Langley Flippers Annual Pub Night and help support the children and enjoy an evening out with friends!
